Geelong Nepalese Association
Geelong Nepalese Association (GNA) is a not-for-profit, VMC supported organization registered with Consumer Affairs of Victoria in 2012 with 7 members and also affiliated with Geelong Ethnic Community Council (GECC). The organization has 42 paid members and 250 general members.
Our mission:
- Happy and Healthy Community.
- Raise and preserve Nepalese culture and traditions.
- Uplift Nepalese community in all aspects
- Help to newcomers in every aspect like the job, education, placement, settlement, etc.

Our Purpose:
- To promote, celebrate and preserve Nepali culture, traditions, language, costumes of Nepal and overall Nepali pride in Barwon South West Region.
- To show Nepali cultural diversity and solidarity through the Geelong Ethnic Community Council.
- To support to Nepal and Nepalese living in Geelong and Surf Coast region in crisis as well as in the time of need.
- To work closely with other Australian communities and agencies to promote Nepali culture and share the multiculturism to all.
- To coordinate and facilitate different festivals among Nepalese another community living in Geelong and Surf Coast.
